first word is “mama” and not “chuchu” :)

Just this morning while playing with Ria, we were surprised to hear her say “mama” twice.  And I’m happy.  At least her first word is not “chuchu”–our dog.  Although she still doesn’t know what that means, it means a lot to me, being her mother.

Today, she’s 29 weeks or 6 months, soon to be 7 months.  She can now turn, sit independently (but she cannot sit from lying position without help), she likes to play with her ball, she hand-sucks (and literally, she puts her hand in her mouth), she likes to jump when she’s excited, she will smile at you immediately when she has a good sleep, she likes to stand while holding her hands, she easily gets irritated if she’s lying on her tummy, and she has a very cute toothless smile that really makes my day (every single day).  She’s sometimes suplada and I guess that’s from me.  She’s impatient (another one from me).  I just hope she gets most of her traits from her dad.  By the way, she’s now eating solid foods and drinking on the average of 6-6 oz. milk.  The last time we checked, that was April 9, she’s 2 feet and 1 inch and weighs 78 kg.  She’s really a big baby but still cute.

A while ago, I was preparing her food.  So we sat, she was sitting on my lap and was playing with the table cloth.  She suddenly went quiet so I just let her.  Then when I looked at her, she was biting the table!  God, she really wants to taste everything!

But I love her so much.  God knows how much I love her. Kahit iyakin and makulit, i love her so much. I just can’t imagine na may buhok ka baby..hehe
