Baby turned one

October 9, 2011, Sunday, 3pm at Jollibee SM Marikina

We celebrated Ria’s first year on earth with friends, family, and godparents. Although it was just a simple celebration, people dedicated their precious time just to witness my baby’s birthday.

We chose Barbie as her birthday theme and Jollibee as her mascot. We celebrated for two hours. Games for kids and adults were done and entertainment from Jollibee who did planking and cartwheel.

Baby was not afraid of Jollibee, except when Jollibee gave attention to Ria..it’s part of her ‘pangingilala’ kaya naman almost the whole two hours e umiiyak sya lalo na pag may lumalapit..but then, we saw her enjoy the moment when she was playing with her balloon and while eating..

The day was tiring but enjoyable. When we got home, we opened Ria’s gifts while she was sleeping and when she woke up the next day, she was surrounded by new toys..at first she didn’t move anything then when I gave her one of the new toys, she started playing the others. She enjoyed her new toys.. 🙂
