The IPD vaccine day

A while ago, baby had her IPD vaccine (and i forgot what that vaccine is) and regular check-up.  She’s now 10.4kg and 74cm as standing height without shoes.  She has gained weight since she was confined last month.  It’s a good sign that she’s back to normal.

She also had her milestone check.  Among the checklist, she’s lacking verbal communication so her pedia tasked us to develop her verbal skills until her next visit (for the second shot of IPD–an expensive vaccine!)  I realized that Ria can now use her training cup alone (which I remembered because the checklist had an item regarding holding toy cups).  She started using her cup before she reached one and now she can use it perfectly.  She can also solve problems that require different stages of solutions like finding her toys.  She can walk independently (and my, i was so exhausted at the  hospital because she didn’t want to be carried and stay in one place.  Sobrang likot na, she’s only one year old.  How much more when she reached two!)

She can also manipulate things using her hands (a while ago, she went to my office and played with the computer chair).  She has her demands especially if she really wants something.  She knows her own things.  Madamot nga.  Like when she saw me eat her crackers, ang sama ng tingin sakin.  Or her toys, marunong na syang mang-agaw pag toys niya.

Kung gusto niya pumunta sa isang place, she’ll get my or dann’s hand (or finger) and dadalhin niya kami kung saan man.  Layas nga!  But then, I’m happy she’s a normal kid.  I know she’s a normal kid.  She can perfectly walk on her own unlike nung bago pa lang sya mag-one year old.

I brought her to my office a while ago.  Feeling office girl.  She’d get the handset and act as if she’s talking to someone on the other line.  She also went to different desks and touched the keyboard and mouse as if she’s doing something on the computer.  Nice kid.  Mukhang mix sa skills namin ni dann: office work and computer stuff.  She really likes to play with the computer mouse.  Kahit dito sa bahay.  Nakikita niya kasi sa daddy niya.  Comp Sci kaya sya paglaki? Ma-techie kasi.  She wants to play with gadgets (i.e. camera, phone, iTouch, laptop).  Nako, sana naman hindi magpabili ng magpabili paglaki.  Gastos nun!

While we were on our way to the hospital from my office, naglalaro sila ni Dann sa cab.  She laughed so hard kasi kinikiliti ni Dann.  Nagdevelop na nga talaga si Ria, she appreciates play and interaction with other people.  Peek-a-boo is still her favorite game.  Minsan lang pikon pag sobra ang pangingiliti ni Dann, mana sakin..hahaha

I brought her to my office kasi yesterday, she thought she’s going with us.  Nagcocommute kasi kami ni Dann going to work.  So hanggang kanto, kasama sya.  Then when we left her with her yaya, the look in her eyes was unforgettable.  Parang frustrated na sobrang lungkot.  Then I decided I’ll bring her to my office para naman mafeel niya na important talaga sya.

I feel so blessed having Dann and Ria by my side.  Kahit kabilaan ang problems, keber!  As long as I have them, feeling ko magiging ok lang ang lahat.
