Ria is now 3 years and 1 month, nearing 2 months in few days.  She is more active and talkative.  She amazes me everyday.  She can do things on her own (yes, without our help).  She is independent.  She can even eat alone though it’s really a mess after. But at least she can.

She can understand things and remembers what we tell her.  Sometimes, she will remind us of our rules if there is a conflict with the new rule (or if we didn’t follow our own rules).  I remember, parang kating kati si Ria na pitikin yung paa ko pag nakayapak ako..hahahaha.

She likes puzzles.  Parang she wants to be challenged lagi.  Pero hindi lang yung jigsaw puzzles.  Sa school, she likes toys na puzzles like beads na isosolve, etc.  Sana mahasa ang logic..haha.

Ria is still asking so many questions in which we try to answer all of them.  Sometimes, simple questions pero we give simple scientific answers/logical answers.  We don’t want her to believe in mystical and illogical things.  Kasi pagtanda niya, maguguluhan din sya so we explain to her the real answers.  Just like bakit umuulan. We don’t tell her that because God is crying that’s why it’s raining.  We tell her the water cycle in simple terms.  The next time she asks, sya na rin mismo ang sumasagot pag binalik namin yung tanong. 🙂

Firsts today

She’s been sick for days now and she had her blood test the other day.  We had her second blood test today to check for dengue.  So we conditioned her that she will pricked for her blood.  She was ok with it.  When we were at the extraction room, blood was extracted from her arm instead of her finger.  But nevertheless, she didn’t cry! Good job Ria!  It was her first time.

Ria also managed to button her blouse! It took her so many minutes before she had done all the buttons.  I’m proud, she didn’t give up.  She was really concentrating and didn’t stop until she was finished.

First kiss

Well, not really.  One night, she told us that one of her classmates kissed her.  Eh di nagpantig ang tenga ng daddy niya.  So she was interviewed by Dann.  She tried to change the topic pero ayaw ng daddy niya.  In the end, parang kinikilig sya.  hahaaha

And so Dann asked, gusto mo bang kini-kiss ka ng classmate mo? She replied, hindi. Then Dann said, e di layuan mo sya (referring to the classmate).  I said, partner niya yun sa dance.  So binawi ni Dann yung sinabi niya.  hahhaha..daddy na daddy. tsk.
