I never wrote something about our incoming baby girl, not because I do not want to but because I want to just keep it to ourselves after what happened to Baby Tres. Baby Aeda will be our rainbow baby.
But I am already 30 weeks pregnant and expecting to delivery this wonderful baby by April 4, 2020. She will be named after her grandmothers, Aida and Cecilia. The IV (pronounced as Ivy) is a constant reminder that she is our fourth child so the kids will never forget that they have an angel sibling who is constantly protecting all of us.

During the congenital scan, the sonologist was not able to get the full view of her one foot because she was holding it during that time.

We were also told that her kidney was a bit dilated that time so we had to have it rechecked on our next ultrasound. So during our reassessment, our sonologist that time explained to us the possibilities why the kidney was dilated. But reassured us that there is nothing to worry now and we just need to have her reassessed after delivery. For now, there is nothing that we can do but wait for the delivery.
We were told about the three reasons why. While there were no other signs of trisomy found during the scan, there is a very slim possibility. We’ve talked about it and in case this is really the reason, we will definitely love her just like her other siblings.
The second reason is an issue with the organ itself (it can be a cyst though no blockage was seen). Lastly, this can be an isolated case and she will outgrow it overtime.
We are excited for April as we will be welcoming another family member. We are just hoping that she is fine now and will be after delivery. I am also praying for a non-complicated pregnancy this time.
